Associate Insurance Advisor
As an Associate Insurance Advisor, you will be responsible for the sales and service of The Co-operators products. In addition to responding to customer requests, you will complete front-line risk assessments and match new, prospective and existing clients to all lines of insurance.
You have, or will acquire within three months, a General Insurance License.
Experience in the insurance field would be preferred.
You must also be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite and other technology.
Other financial services licenses, flexible hours and travel may also be required.
Salary will vary with your experience. Once full-time, benefits and bonus will be included.

Summer Tourism Administrative Assistant
Lindsay & District Chamber of Commerce – Lindsay, ON
$14.00 an hour – Temporary Summer Employment
The Lindsay & District Chamber of Commerce is seeking a 8 week Summer Tourism Administrative Assistant funded through the Canada Summer Jobs grant program.
Start: July 2nd, 2019
Job Location: 180 Kent Street West, Lindsay
Hours: 30 hours per week
Duration: 8 weeks (Must be completed before August 23rd, 2019)
Highlights of the position include:
Reception duties such as answer phones and greeting office visitors
Tourism Ambassador for the Office
General Office Administration
Provide information for tourism information inquiries
Assist with creation of new brochures for tourism information
Schedule Member highlight posts on social media
Assist with E-blasts, Website Updates and Content Development
Assist with planning of upcoming Chamber events
Assist with sales and development of B2B Sourcebook
Assist in the improvement of Office Systems
Familiar with the City of Kawartha Lakes area and it’s businesses an asset
Preference given to applicants with an Events, Tourism or Business/Marketing Diploma or currently in school for these careers
Experience using MS Office & Gmail
Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite, Facebook, twitter & Instagram an asset
Comfortable working independently and working in a team environment
Ability to take initiative is very important
Strong Communication Skills
Experience working with the public
Excellent customer service is a must
Must be available for one Saturday in July.
