OUR VISION The Lindsay & District Chamber of Commerce will be the leading business and community development resource to enhance the quality of life for the City of Kawartha Lakes OUR MISSION STATEMENT The Lindsay & District Chamber of Commerce strives to be the voice of business. We are committed to providing leadership, service and advocacy by enhancing economic prosperity for our members and the community. | WELCOME TO THE LINDSAY + DISTRICT CHAMBER OF COMMERCE The Lindsay + District Chamber of Commerce has been in existence since January 25, 1962. There has been a history of volunteer community business leaders that have developed the Chamber into the organization it is today. The LDCC has been located at both ends of Kent Street, in the Victoria Park, and for several years at 4 Victoria Avenue North. Today we are in the heart of Downtown Lindsay in the Lindsay Municipal Service Centre, located at 180 Kent Street West. We are a thriving organization representing over 330 business and association members within the southern half of the Kawartha Lakes including the communities of Lindsay, Omemee, Bethany, Pontypool, Little Britain, Cameron, Oakwood, and Woodville. The LDCC is a public relations/advertising vehicle, a legislative monitor at the municipal, provincial and federal levels of government and we continue to provide tourist and business information, as well as business programs and events for our members. One of the directions of the Chamber of Commerce is that we continue to be a leading advocacy role and influencers for the local business community advancing the economic, commercial and civic interests of the community. |
