Finding the financial resources to run operations, offer services and serve our communities is one of the greatest challenges in the not-for-profit sector. Governments, foundations and other funding sources are ready to help so long as proposals are clear, timely and thorough, they align with the funder’s mission and fulfill the criteria and objectives of the grant. Often, this is not as easy as it sounds.
The Community Foundation of Kawartha Lakes invites you to join us to gain insight on current funding opportunities and best practices from ourpanel of local experts who bring a wealth of experience, insight and success in securing grants for a multitude of charities in Kawartha Lakes and beyond. They look forward to sharing their knowledge and addressing your concerns.
Panelists
Kristen Scott, Owner, Principal, Springboard Grants & Consulting
Jim Armstrong, President, Kawartha Works Community Co-operative
